The mission of the Fort Bragg Headlands Consortium is to help achieve environmentally sound strategies for restoration and reuse that will improve the quality of life and economy for current and future residents of the Northern Mendocino Coast.
Our mission leads us to support three goals for our community
1. Improved quality of life, for residents, businesses, and visitors.
2. Improved community resilience so we are responsive to a rapidly changing technological and climatic future.
3. Sustainable economic growth, with a local economy that sustains itself and the environment.

Fort Bragg High School students learn agricultural commerce first hand by selling produce from The Noyo Food Forest's Learning Garden at the Farmer's Market.

The Noyo Center for Marine Science will occupy 11.5 acres on the southwest side of the property. Now, a small temporary beginning, the Crow's Nest, houses a blue whale skeleton and other articulated marine mammals. The Noyo Center's vision will result in an innovative world-class scientific research facility, public interpretive center and exhibition space.
