Creeks flow year round in decaying culverts underneath decrepit asphalt and spill into the still toxic mill pond. Georgia-Pacific must clean up the remaining toxic ponds. In the process we can unbury the old creeks and create beautiful spaces that will benefit the health and economic future of the Fort Bragg Headlands and our community.

The opening up of Maple and Alder creeks and their restoration flows naturally from a thorough clean-up of Pond-8, the mill pond, and the remaining toxic lowland areas.
