The Consortium

The Consortium is an science-based group of organizations and individuals leveraging its technical expertise to promote informed and engaged communication within the community about the redevelopment of the Fort Bragg Headlands. The group is made up of volunteers organized through a memorandum of collaboration.

The Work

Economic and social development, based on science, innovation, and new technologies can serve current and future generations and preserve or restore the environment. Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. A sustainable future for Fort Bragg requires a better balance between nature, natural resources, and development than has been exhibited in the past 100 years. A healthy natural environment can create more vibrant development opportunities and increase the quality of our lives.

Fort Bragg Headlands Consortium mission

The FBHC mission is to help achieve environmentally sound strategies for restoration and reuse of Fort Bragg Headlands that will improve the quality of life and economy for our coastal community.
